D500 mit ELFEi BionX Tuning Tool ELFEi

Hello,

I apologize for not being able to speak German! But I am writing here because I think only this forum may know the answer. I'd like to know if the ELFEI BionX tuning tool (http://www.elektrofahrrad-einfach.de/pr ... ml?x=0&y=0) will work with the new D 500 system from BionX (http://ridebionx.com/products/ebike/ebi ... /#features).

Since the D500 is a very expensive system, I'd really like to make sure that the tuning tool works. I also have a few other questions:

* If I use the tool to take off the speed limit, but then I want to have my d500 serviced by BionX (under warranty). In this case, can I use the tool to reset the speed back to its original value, and will BionX know that the tool was used?

* Has anyone actually tested the tool with the d500? BionX is putting a lot of work into the canbus system, and while I know that the older bionx models work with the tool, has anyone actually physically tested on the d500 kit?

Ich spreche zwar selber nicht Deutsch, hab aber jemanden gefunden, der fuer mich uebersetzen kann. Ich suche die Antwort auf eine Frage, die wahrscheinlich nur dieses Forum beantworten kann: und zwar wuesst ich gerne, ob das ELFEI BionX tuning tool (http://www.elektrofahrrad-einfach.de/pr ... ml?x=0&y=0) mit dem neuen D 500 system von BionX (http://ridebionx.com/products/ebike/ebi ... /#features) funktioniert.

Das D 500 ist ziemlich teuer, daher moechte ich sicher stellen, dass ich genau weiss, worauf ich mich einlasse, daher noch ein paar Extrafragen:

* Was passiert wenn ich mit dem Tuning Tool die Geschwindigkeitslimitierung aufhebe, dann aber den Garantieservice von BionX in Anspruch nehmen will/muss? Hat jemand Erfahrung damit ob die Ruecksetzung des Limits ausreicht?

* Kann jemand hier von praktischen Erfahrungen mit dem Tuning Tool und speziell dem D500 berichten? Wie ist das Fahrververhalten nach Modifikation und gibt es merkbare Auffaelligkeiten (Motor/Batterie)?

Hello,

tuning the P500 will not give you much speed gain. U will have an increase in top speed, but it will be pretty low compared to a tunes P250

If you have a warranty case, make sure you set it back to the original settings before, then the tuning can not be detected.

Thank you for the reply. You mention P500 and P250, but I am not talking about those systems. I am talking about a different system, the D 500 DV (http://ridebionx.com/products/ebike/ebi ... /#features).

Will the tuner work for D 500 DV?
